Grapeseed oil

Procyanidin, a component of grape seed oil, binds elastin and collagen. As a result, it serves as a cross-linking agent for the blood vessels and tightens tissue and skin.

The resveratol enzymes contained in grape seed oil can slow down the aging process of the skin and thus help to extend the lifespan of skin cells. Resveratol also counteracts the formation of inflammation and edema.

Grape seed oil consists of 70% linoleic acid, which belongs to the group of omega-6 fatty acids. These fatty acids are one of the most important factors for cell renewal in the skin and are therefore also essential for wound healing. Linoleic acid can also counteract known skin problems such as atopic eczema, dandruff or acne.
